PURPOSE: A method for inputting Hangul(Korean language) on a numeric keypad of cellular phones is provided to input Hangul by setting consonants/vowels of Hangul according to their shapes with the 12 numbers of number plate of cellular phones. CONSTITUTION: A method for inputting Hangul(Korean language) on a numeric keyboard of cellular phones comprises as following. The method inputs Hangul easily, correctly and rapidly by arraying consonants/vowels of Hangul on the keypad according to their shapes/services, selecting 12 numbers basic in a shape among the analyzed 24 numbers of consonants/vowels, arraying 11 numbers among the 12 numbers on the keypad while using the remained one as an assembly key, that is a function key making shapes of all unselected consonants/vowels. Giyeok, nieun, digeus, bieup and sios of consonants and 'a, eo, o, u and ui' of vowels are selected. Only 'o' and 'u' of the selected consonants/vowels are arrayed on the keypad twice, the rest in each plate a time.
