PURPOSE: A system for settling digital gift certificates using mobile communication terminals is provided, so that customers can easily buy and use the digital gift certificates by using the mobile communication terminals of the customers, and to manage purchased charge settlements of the gift certificates and balances, to simplify charge settlements for settlement procedures and sales detail managements. CONSTITUTION: A system for settling digital gift certificates using mobile communication terminals comprises a manager server(1) for the digital gift certificates, a gift certificate issuing server(2), a mobile communication manager server(3), mobile communication terminals(4,5), and a member store terminal for the digital gift certificates(6). The manager server connected with the issuing server generates numbers of the digital gift certificates and sets up issuing limitations. The manager server processes purchase limitations, purchase charges, balances, user authenticating passwords, and transactions dates by connecting with the mobile communication terminals. The manager server processes member store numbers, transactions authenticating numbers, and transactions amounts of money by connecting with the member store terminal. The issuing server processes sales details of the gift certificates, and sales funds transferring. The mobile communication manager server processes terminal numbers of customers, purchased amounts of money, and funds transferring for the money. The member store terminal transceives authentication details and transactions collecting details.
