PURPOSE: A method for advertising on the internet is provided to increase advertising efficiency by manufacturing digital images for publicity with previews to supply the digital images to clients for free, and by supplying advertisements of moving pictures when the clients download the digital images. CONSTITUTION: An internet broadcasting site supplies broadcasting programs to more than one client terminal on the internet. An internet broadcasting server supplies publicizing programs for optional programs requested from the client terminals through the internet broadcasting site. An advertising vicarious execution server inserts advertisements through the internet broadcasting site. A method for advertising in a system including the internet broadcasting server and the advertising vicarious execution server, comprises the steps of: authenticating a client connecting to the site, and if the client wants to watch a specific publicizing program, supplying the corresponding program to a client terminal; if the client wants to download an entire program for the publicizing program, downloading the program to supply advertisements of moving pictures requested from the advertising vicarious execution server to the client terminal. The method further comprises a step of supplying mileage to the client for the downloaded program.
