PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inline type electrolytic apparatus capable of converting the chlorine ions in salt water to residual chlorine and more particularly to provide an inline chlorine generating electrolytic apparatus for a post mix type potable water producing apparatus. SOLUTION: This inline chlorine generating electrolytic apparatus is the electrolytic apparatus which is arranged with a concentric electrode 21 within a cylindrical electrode 11, impresses DC voltage between both ends and converts the chlorine ions in the water to be treated to the residual chlorine when passing between the both electrodes. The inside wall surface of the cylindrical electrode and the outside wall surface of the cylindrical or rod- shaped concentric electrode concentrically arranged at the approximate center in the cylindrical electrode are formed as cathode or anode. In such a case, both ends are provided with connectors 31a and 31b consisting of electrically insulating material. The concentric electrode is so held as to be arranged at the approximate center of the cylindrical electrode by the connectors. The connectors have inflow ports or outflow ports of the liquid to be treated. The voltage is impressed from outside to the concentric electrode through a metallic member 32 fixed to the approximate center in the concentric electrode in contact therewith through the connectors and the connectors are fixed by the metallic member 32. |
