PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a position relationship between laser emitting devices constant in terms of an image output apparatus wherein a plurality of laser emitting devices each performing optical scanning are provided and a desired image is outputted by superposing the operations of the scanning by the laser emitting devices. SOLUTION: There is disclosed an image output apparatus wherein images of respective colors are formed to be superposed by means of a plurality of laser emitting devices 28a-28d having a polygon mirror for scanning laser lights corresponding to image data across a photosensitive body in the direction of a rotational axis, thereby outputting a desired image. The laser emitting devices 28a-28d are supported by front and rear frames 37-1, 37-2 of a common support housing 37 with a predetermined position relationship. Reinforcement member 39a-39e for increasing strength of the front and rear frames 37-1, 37-2 are attached thereto such that a space for supporting the laser emitting devices 28a-28d is partitioned. Ventilating holes are provided to the reinforcement member 39a-39e, respectively such that the air is introduced into each of support spaces via a filter 42 to be passed therethrough when the air is discharged by an exhaust fan 41. |
