PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin cosmetic which can give excellent refreshing touch, skin-tightening touch and tensive touch when and after coated and persist the effects by mixing a constant amount of a lower alcohol with a spherical powder material, a coating film-forming agent and a refreshing agent. SOLUTION: This cosmetic comprises (A) a lower alcohol (preferably ethanol and/or isopropyl alcohol) in an amount of 10-60 wt.% based on the total amount of the skin cosmetic, (B) a spherical powder material (preferably a spherical powder material having an average particle diameter of 1-50μm), (C) a coating film-forming agent (preferably polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, dextrin), and (D) a refreshing agent (menthol or its derivative, camphor or its derivative, essential oil). The components B, C and D are preferably contained in amounts of 0.1-10 wt.%, 0.01-5 wt.% and 0.001-3 wt.%, respectively, per the total amount of the cosmetic. Thereby, the objective excellent skin cosmetic having the persistent effects is provided.
