PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide superior transparency and easy-to-adhere properties and reduce optical defects by containing no particles in a base film and setting the height of protrusions, the maximum diameter and depth of recesses within the specified range on the surface of the base film. SOLUTION: In the constitution of an easy bonding optical film in which a biaxially oriented polyester film is used as a base and a polymer easy bonding layer is formed on one face of the base, an easy bonding optical film containing no particles in its base film and having the number of foreign matters of 10 pieces/m2 or less and formed on the surface of the base film and having the shape, wherein the height of protrusions is 1μm or higher and the maximum diameter is 20μm or more and the depth of recesses is formed within 100μm from sites adjoining the protrusions is 0.5μm or more, is formed on the surface of the base film. The easy bonding layer of the easy bonding optical film contains a copolymer polyester resin and a polyurethane resin as main resin components. The optical film provided with superior transparency and superior bonding properties in the prism processing and anti-reflection processing and having only a small number of optical defects can be manufactured by the arrangement.
