PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: Not to make a robot holding a welding gun perform complex movements, and to reduce the replacing process of the welding gun. SOLUTION: This is a welding gun device constituted by that two gun arms (gun arm upper jaw part 12, gun arm lower jaw part 14) equipped with electrode tips 22 at their tip parts and having the degrees of freedom of three rotations respectively, are freely rotatably supported by gun arm supporting members 10. The configuration of this device is as follows; respective gun arm base parts 18 are supported by gun arm supporting members 10 so that both gun arms are freely rotatable in the opening and closing directions. Gun arm long arm parts 20 are freely rotatably supported by the respective gun arm base parts 18 so that each gun arm turns on a surface paralleling in the base part projecting direction. Welding tip parts 24 having electrode tips 22 at the tips of the respective gun arm long arm parts 20 have been mounted so that they are freely rotatable in the opening and closing directions to the gun arm long arm parts 20.
