PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jewel mounting part and a mounting method capable of shining the jewel such as a diamond mounted on the mounting part to the maximum. SOLUTION: In a dent part for mounting 16 formed in a body 12 of a ring 10, four fixed claws 22 are provided to stand, and among the fixed claws 22 a diamond 24 is disposed. A bending part 22B of each fixed craw 22 is made such that a girdle part 28 of the diamond 24 and a slight upper end 26A of a pavilion part 26 bite into it. Also, a pressing part 22C of the fixed craw 22 slightly abuts on a crown part 30 of the diamond 24. As a result, the abutting area of the fixed craw 22 and the diamond 24 becomes extremely small.
