PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouthpiece easy to manage for coping with a subject with mouths of various sizes at a low cost by forming a teeth pad member which is a component of the mouthpiece for an endoscope separately from a mouthpiece body. SOLUTION: This mouthpiece 10 for an endoscope is constituted of a mouthpiece body 12, a teeth pad member 18 and a fixing member 14. A guide tube 16 is inserted into the insertion hole of the mouthpiece body 12 and the insertion hole of the fixing member 14, the fixing member 14 is inserted into the mouthpiece body 12, thereby the teeth pad member 18 is fixed to the mouthpiece body 12. The teeth pad member 18 is fitted to the mouthpiece body 12 and is fixed to it when the guide tube 16 is fixed by the fixing member 14.
