PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide for liquid a paper container whose base laminate structure arranged with a coloring resin layer having a photo-insulating characteristic is simplified and whose outer appearance has higher luster than an ordinary paper container. SOLUTION: This relates to a paper container for liquid made of a container material 1 provided at least with a coloring resin layer 3 having a photo- insulating characteristic on the outer face side of a paperboard layer 2 which is a base material, and with a heat fusing synthetic resin layer 4 having a white color on the outermost layer of the outer face side. On the inner face side of the paperboard layer 2, at least a heat fusing synthetic resin layer 7 is arranged at the innermost layer.
