发明名称 THERMAL COPYING APPARATUS
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety on the occasion of handling and to reduce the cost of manufacture, in regard to a thermal copying apparatus using a xenon discharge tube. SOLUTION: A thermal copying apparatus 1 has a light-transmissible tubular body 4 and a roller-shaped pressing member 5. Stencil paper 2 and copy put on each other are carried, being held between the tubular body 4 and the pressing member 5. A light source unit 8 and a scanning drive part 9 are provided inside the tubular body 4. Inside a case body 10 of the light source unit 8, a reflector 11, a xenon light source part 12, a battery 13, a capacitor 14 for high voltage and a high voltage circuit part 15 controlling charge and discharge of the capacitor 14 are provided. The scanning drive part 9 has a feed screw rod 16 screwed in a nut part 17 of the case body 10. With intermittent carriage of the stencil paper 2 and the copy 7 put on each other, the light source unit 8 emits a flash by a prescribed number of times while it moves. A perforation image corresponding to a copy image is formed in the stencil paper 2. When the xenon light source part 12 or the high voltage circuit part 15 is consumed, it is replaced with the whole unit. The possibility of touching a high voltage part in the course of work for replacement is eliminated and thus an accident of electric shock can be prevented without fail.
