PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a material for gardening, construction and civil engineering contg. no hazardous substance and with high safety by preparing a molded body with lightweight being no obstruction for conveyance by using plant wastes being pruning wastes of roadside trees and pruning wastes generated from works related to gardening and agriculture. SOLUTION: Chips 1 obtd. by grinding plants and a natural rubber latex 2 prepd. by adding water to a natural rubber latex with biodegradable properties to make the viscosity at most 100 CP are kneaded to mold it into a block 3 or a sheet. In addition, one or a plurality of water-soluble polymers, org. fertilizers, chemical fertilizers, seeds of plants (grasses, trees, flowers, mosses and ferns) are added and they are kneaded with an unvulcanized natural rubber latex whose viscosity is adjusted to at most 100 CP with water to mold the mixture into a block or a sheet.
