PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for iontophoresis which allows the recognition of a conduction state with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This device detects a percutaneuosly or permucosally accumulated electric capacity. A voltage comparator 10B detects the presence or absence of reactive current by comparing an output current signal 18 indicating the percutaneuosly or permucosally flowing reactive current and a threshold level SL previously regulated to the voltage value corresponding to the lower limit value of the reactive current. When the output current signal 18 is higher than the threshold level SL, an 'H' is outputted as the output signal 11B from the voltage comparator 10B to announce that the conduction state to a control circuit is normal. When the output current signal 18 is lower than the threshold level SL, an 'L' is outputted as the output signal 11B from the voltage comparator 10B to announce that there is certain abnormality in the conduction state to the control circuit.
