PURPOSE: A system for providing athletic information using the internet and the operating method thereby are provided so that users can obtain the athletic information suitable to their individual health conditions and purchase the associated athletic implements by providing information about the latest athletic prescriptions and implements to the users. CONSTITUTION: Users are connected to an athletic prescription center server(20) through an internet network(10) using their terminals(2). An athletic center(4) provides a web application service, or systematical athletic prescription information, to the users. A program storage part(30) comprises an operating program(32) and a search program(34). An internet broadcasting server(40) provides an internet broadcasting service through the data stored in a motion picture/broadcasting information database(42). An advertising server(50) provides advertisements on websites through a database(52). A database(60) is comprised of a latest athletic prescription information database(62), a member information database(64), an athletic center database(66) and a purchase data database(68). The athletic prescription center server(20) provides various services to the general users registered in the member information database(64).
