PURPOSE: A safe landing device of escalator or belt type transferring device is provided for a person to safely land to the ground by lowering the speed of a rotating belt. CONSTITUTION: A safe landing device of escalator or belt type transferring device comprises a main belt portion(10) rotated and transferred in the speed of v1 and an auxiliary belt portion(20) for being rotated in the speed of v2(v2 < v1). The main belt portion(10) has a main belt(1) being rotated and for transferring persons or cargo and a middle stepping panel(3) installed at a location where the movement of the main belt(1) is ended and on the same surface where the main belt(1) is installed. The auxiliary belt portion(20) horizontally rotated with the middle stepping panel(3). The auxiliary belt portion(20) has an auxiliary belt(2) shorter than the main belt(1) and an end stepping panel(4) installed at a location where the movement of the auxiliary belt(2) is ended and on the same surface where the auxiliary belt(2) is installed. Therefore, a user safely lands to the ground according to the speed difference of the main belt(1) and the auxiliary belt(2).
