PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mount and demount batteries to a car body frame. SOLUTION: This battery mounting and demounting structure is formed by accommodating batteres in a car body frame extending from a head pipe 2 to a rear part of a car body. On this occasion, the vertically divided steering shafts are coaxially mounted on the upper and lower parts of the head pipe 2, the batteries 35, 36 are respectively demountably mounted on a top tube 14 and a down tube 15 as the car body frames, through a battery mounting and demounting port 2a opened on a front surface of the head pipe 2. That is, as the batteries 35, 36 are demountably mounted on the top tube 14 and the down tube 15 through the battery mounting and demounting port 2a opened on the front surface of the head pipe 2, the batteries 35, 36 can be easily mounted and demounted.
