PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block penetration of oil to the interior of a breather chamber arranged at a head cover as much as possible and to reduce cost of the breather chamber structure thereof. SOLUTION: A breather chamber 5a consists of a rib 4 protruded from the back of a head cover and a plate fixed at the back with a gap therebetween. A part of the rib 4 is removed in a manner to open toward the inner surface of the side wall of a head cover 1 to form an opening part 4a. A communication passage running along a cam shaft is formed between inner surface of the side wall of the head cover 1 and the rib 4 and the middle of the communication passage is cut off by a cam bolder 2. This constitution constitutes the labyrinth of the breather chamber without using a different part by forming the labyrinth by utilizing a cam holder and suitably prevents entrance of oil splashed by a cam and reduce cost of a labyrinth structure being high in oil separation ability.
