PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly raise and bring down a rise and fall type water prevention door. SOLUTION: A raising device of this water prevention door comprises a diagonally downward drive arm 11 which is coupled to the rear surface of a water prevention door 21 and a threaded shaft 12 which drives the drive arm 11 back and forth. By driving the drive arm 11 back and forth with the threaded shaft 12, the water prevention door 21 can be raised or lowered between a standby state where the water prevention door 21 is brought down on the floor surface FL and a use state where the door is tightly adhered to a door frame 45.
