STRUCTURE AND LEVEL ADJUSTING METHOD OF RAIL JOINT FOR HEAVY MATERIAL TRANSFER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a level adjustment method of a rail joint for heavy material transfer shortening the processes of heavy material removal and installation works and reducing the construction cost. SOLUTION: Level between the end of a first heavy material transfer rail 14 and the end of an opposed second heavy material transfer rail 29 is adjusted using a first level adjusting member 38 interposed between a receiver mount 35 provided in the tip part the first heavy material transfer rail 14 and a rail support beam 36 supported by the receiver mount 35; and the level between the end of the second heavy material transfer rail 29 and the first heavy material transfer rail 14 matching to the end is adjusted by a second level adjustment member 39 interposed between the bottom of the end of the second heavy material transfer rail 29 and the upper face of the rail support beam 36 supporting the end.
