摘要 PURPOSE: A method for removing an erroneous pattern of a liquid crystal display device and a structure of the same are provided to remove the erroneous pattern in a very short period of time. CONSTITUTION: A method for removing an erroneous pattern of a liquid crystal display device includes a gate interconnection, a gate insulation layer(32), a data interconnection, an activation layer(33), a passivation layer(36), and a pixel electrode(37). The gate interconnection includes a gate electrode(31G) as well as a gate line(31L) on a substrate. The gate insulation layer(32) covers the exposed surface of the substrate including the gate interconnection. The data interconnection includes a data line(35L), a source electrode, and a drain electrode on the gate insulation layer. The activation layer(33) overlaps the data line(35L), a source electrode, and a drain electrode on the gate insulation layer to form a thin film transistor. The passivation layer(36) covers the exposed surface of the substrate. The pixel electrode(37) is connected to a data interconnection exposed on the passivation layer.
