摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylene resin composition having an improved flame- drooping property and a high flame retardance which is suitable for insulating layers or sheath layers of communication cables. SOLUTION: To 100 pts.wt. base resin component comprising from 50 to 95 wt.% at least one copolymer (A) selected from a copolymer of ethylene and a vinyl ester, a copolymer of ethylene and anα,β-unsaturated carboxylic ester and a linear, ultra-low density copolymer of ethylene and anα-olefin, and from 50 to 5 wt.% linear ethylene/α-olefin copolymer (B) which is polymerized using a single-site catalyst wherein the melt flow rate is from 0.5 to 50 g/10 min, the density is from 0.86 to 0.935 g/cm3 and the Mw/Mn is 3.0 or smaller, from 2 to 50 pts.wt. functional group-containing compound-modified ethylenic resin (C), from 5 to 250 pts.wt. metal hydrate (D), from 1 to 12 pts.wt. triazine ring-containing compound (E) and from 0.5 to 5 pts.wt. at least one flame retardance-imparting compound (F) chosen from boron compounds, molybdenum compounds and powder silicones, are mixed.
