PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe oscillatory chair device capable of securely oscillating in a proper condition. SOLUTION: This device comprises front and rear base boards 2, 3 hanging down and connected to a machine casing 1 with hoop irons 11, chairs 4, 5 mounted on the base boards 2, 3 respectively by way of supports 41, 51, a reversing shaft 6 reversely rotatable supported by the machine casing 1 in the direction perpendicular to the direction of oscillation of the chairs in the middle between the supports 41 and 51, an oscillating mechanism 8 with a motor 80 for reversely oscillating the shaft 6, and a connecting board 62 fixed to the shaft 6. Both ends of the connecting board 62 are connected to the supports 41, 51 respectively of the chairs 4, 5 by way of cranks 42, 52. The device also has pressure detecting switches 47, 57 on the front of the chairs, and weight detecting switches 46, 56 are built in the tops of the chairs 4, 5 respectively.
