PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the period of the second process by executing the first process for mounting a new apparatus in a position close to an existing apparatus and the second process for resting the operation of an elevator over a time longer than the first process work all day night, removing the existing apparatus and installing the new apparatus in the existing apparatus position. SOLUTION: In the first process, a new control board 25 is installed to a position close to an existing control board, and a new wiring duct 26 is installed to a position close to an existing wiring duct. In the second process, an existing hoist is removed, and a new hoist 27 is installed to this position. An existing landing switch is removed, and a new landing switch 39 is installed to this position. Further, an existing hall button is removed, and a hall button 40 is installed to this position. Further, an existing operation board is removed, and a new operation board 33 is installed to this position. An existing moving cable is removed, and a new moving cable 30 is connected to the new control board 25 by a connecting tool, also connected to the new operation board 33 by a splicer 31, and suspended so as to form a curved part in the lower end.
