PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of a recording paper by humidity without being housed in an exclusive storage box even if a casing or bag packaging a cartridge in shipping is opened by providing a moisture absorbent within the cartridge. SOLUTION: A tray 24 has a longitudinal groove-like housing chamber 245 on each side wall so that a moisture absorbent 25 can be installed to both rear-side inner walls of the tray 24, respectively, and the moisture absorbent 25 is fitted and fixed thereto through the upper opening of the housing chamber 245. A plurality of moisture absorbing holes 246, 246... are longitudinally provided on the opposite side wall of each housing chamber 245 to adsorb the moisture within the tray 24 through each moisture absorbing hole 246, 246.... A packing is interposed between the fitting surfaces of an upper lid and the tray 24, whereby penetration of moisture into a cartridge 2 can be also suppressed.
