PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a defect caused on the glass to be washed by regenerating glass washing soln. and by efficiently removing impurities from the glass washing soln. used for washing and processing of silicate glass and containing impurities and hydrofluoric acid. SOLUTION: Potassium fluorosilicate is precipitated by allowing potassium fluoride to react with fluorosilicic acid in the washing liq. 3 by adding the treating liq. containing potassium fluoride to the washing liq. 3 discharged from a washing tank 11. Impurities are precipitated together with the potassium fluorosilicate and discharged from a discharge cock 34 as precipitate. Hydrofluoric acid 6 is added to the washing liq. and the washing liq. is sent again to the washing tank 11 and used as the washing liq. for cathode-ray tube panel 20.
