PURPOSE: A polyester film for lighting apparatus coating is provided to effectively prevent emission of glass pieces regardless of the film breakage. CONSTITUTION: A polyester film for lighting apparatus coating includes an inactive activator of 0.001 to 30 wt.% having an average particle diameter of 0.001 to 20 micrometer and isophthalic acid ingredient from acid ingredients among repeating units. A first film layer comprises polyester resin having a weight dividing rate of other acid ingredients of 5:95 to 30:70 such as polyethylene terephthalate, naphthalene dicarboxylic acid except the isophthalic acid. A second film layer includes an inactive activator of 0.001 to 30 wt.% having the average particle diameter of 0.001 to 20 micrometer and is composed of polyester resin. The second film layer is attached to the first film layer.
