PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely apply a corrosion resistant coating material even on the parts of large area and places hard to be coated by coating the metallic face to be coated with a corrosion resistant coating material obtd. by mixing low m.p. corrosion resistant amorphous alloy powder contg. one or more kinds of B and Si, a dispersion medium and a stabilizer and slurrying the same into a specified viscosity. SOLUTION: Corrosion resistant amorphous alloy powder is mixed with a dispersion medium and a stabilizer to form into a slurried corrosion resistant coating material having 500 to 2500 cp viscosity. As the method for forming the coating layer of this coating material on the metallic face to be coated, dipping, brushing or spray coating is effective. At this time, as the amorphous alloy powder, the one whose average grain size lies in the range of 10 to 150μm is used. Moreover, as to the formation of the coating layer, the method by powder coating is also effective, and, in this case, the mixing with a dispersion medium and a stabilizer is not required, and, amorphous alloy powder is directly applied on the metallic face to be coated.
