PURPOSE: A method for accessing a memory to process a signal in a switching system, is provided to detect digit information in a corresponding signal circuit block to store in a storing area corresponding in real time, and to read the record in a corresponding call processing block every predetermined cycle to process a corresponding signal, according as a signal circuit block and a call processing block use different storing areas of an equal memory when processing a subscriber or trunk signal in the switching system. So that an overall time processing signals can be reduced in a corresponding switching system. CONSTITUTION: A method for accessing a memory to process a signal in a switching system, comprises the steps of: detecting digit information on a subscriber or truck signal to record in a detection information area of a memory in real time, and increasing the number of detection information; reading detection information recorded in the detection information area in a call processing block in a predetermined cycle, and converting a flag after recording the reading number of the detection information; comparing numbers of the detection information reading with detection information according to the flag converting; and re-converting the flag according to a compared result.
