PURPOSE: To provide an optical pickup with which a good tracking servo signal is obtainable and which is small in size, low in cost and high in productivity. CONSTITUTION: This optical pickup has diffraction gratings 107 which are disposed on the surface of an optical guide member 104 inclined with the optical axis of the incident light emitted from a semiconductor laser chip 103 and splits the incident light beam to three beams; zero order diffracted light beam and ±1st order diffracted light beams. The inter-grating spacing distances of the diffraction gratings 107 are so set that the condensing positions of the three beams formed by divided from the incident light by the diffraction gratings 107 are imaged on the information recording surface of an optical disk. |
