PURPOSE:To effectively mount a plurality of kinds of connectors automatically on a board by providing a plurality of insertion blocks, press fitting heads and pressure receiving heads corresponding to various connectors in advance and by selecting and press fitting a connector corresponding to the kind of a connector to be press-fitted in accordance with a first command. CONSTITUTION:A transfer means, an attraction means and a pressure receiving means are provided with an insertion block 4b, a press fitting head 11d and a pressure receiving head 12d corresponding to the kind of a connector to be contained in a stocker 2 in advance. The stocker 2 holds a plurality of kinds of connectors 1-1 to 1-N in magazine cases which are different for every kind thereof. An insertion turret 10, a press fitting turret 11 and a pressure turret 12 automatically select an insertion block 10b, a press fitting 11d and the pressure receiving head 12d matching a connector shape and pin arrangement before press fitting operation. Thereby, a plurality of kinds of connectors can be mounted on a printed board 8 automatically and effectively. |
