PURPOSE: To control the system to a suitable frequency while maintaining a generator stable by assuming that an arbitrary control pattern is executed, and selecting a system control pattern in which all the generators to reach unstable state can be transferred to a stable state based on the stability calculation of the power system conducted again. CONSTITUTION: A central processing unit 32 finds the point of a fault and the type of the fault based on a digital current value P, effective power, a voltage V, a frequency (f), etc., when the fault is judged to be in a power system. After the point and the type of the fault are determined, whether there is any assumed fault, among the assumed faults for which stability calculation is performed, coincident with the fault is examined, and if the fault coincident with the assumed fault exists, a stabilized control table is referred to, and the system control pattern of the coinciding assumed fault is read. Eventually, the unit 32 outputs a trip signal or a generator control signal from control terminals 22-25 based on the control pattern. |
