The invention concerns an electric deep fryer comprising a casing (1) forming a housing (2), a vessel (6) mounted removable in said housing, designed to receive a cooking sauce, electrical heating means (4), adjusting means (10), second adjusting means (16) having less thermal inertia than the first adjusting means (10). The invention is characterised in that the adjusting means (10) comprise a bimetal element and are in thermal contact with a heated part of the vessel (6) when said vessel is arranged in the housing (2), the second adjusting means (16) comprise a bimetal element and are in thermal contact with a less hot part of the vessel (6) when said vessel is arranged in the housing (2), control means being provided either to activate alternately the adjusting means (10) or the second adjusting means (16), or either to activate or not the adjusting means (10), or to activate or not the second adjusting means (16). |
