PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic treatment apparatus which eliminates the treatment unevenness meeting frequencies and enables a high treatment speed and high current density treatment, and an electrolytic treatment method. SOLUTION: A metallic web 1 is wrapped around a drum roller 3 through pass rollers 2 and 4. The outer side of the drum roller 3 is concentrically provided with electrodes 5 and 6. The front ends and rear ends of the electrodes 5 and 6 are respectively provided with notched parts 14a, 14b, 14c and 14d. The drum roller 3 is disposed freely advanceably and retreatably in a vertical direction and is so constituted that the central point 0 thereof may be offset upward from the central point C of the electrodes 5 and 6. When the drum roller 3 is moved upward, spacings between the peripheral surface of the drum roller 3 and the surfaces of the electrodes 5 and 6 become longer downward, i.e., the nearer the notched parts 14b and 14c. |
