PURPOSE: A method of producing Konjac, a paste made from the starch of the devils-tongue, is provided, which has unique tastes and is good for health with low calorie and dietary fiber, can be preserved for a long term. CONSTITUTION: Konjac is produced by stirring 20-60°C of 200kilogram of water and 5-10kilogram of mugwort in a stirrer(1) for 3min with a stirring motor(11), inserting 5-10kilogram konjac powder, stirring for 5min with two stirrers(13,14) and leaving for 50min, providing the mixed dough to a mixer(2) using a pump(15), mixing at a first and a second screw pump (21,23) with injecting calcium hydroxide to be pH11 through a chemical inlet(24) and removing to a forming device(3), cutting konjac from holes(32) at an inner cylinder(31) of the forming device by an outer cylinder(33) closing the holes with being rotated in warm water, transferring the cut forms to a ripening apparatus |
