PURPOSE: A method for processing transceived switching signals in an automatic protection switching(APS) device with a one-plus-one compatible method is provided to perform a compatibility with other switching device, by converting a switching signal transmitted to a one-plus-one compatible switching device and a switching signal received from the one-plus-one compatible switching device. CONSTITUTION: A method for processing transceived switching signals in an automatic protection switching(APS) device with a one-plus-one compatible method, comprises the steps of: analyzing an APS protocol of a switching signal received from other person, and deciding a switching system of the other person; if the switching system is a one-plus-one compatible system, converting the switching signal into a switching signal utilized in a one-plus-one optimizing system, and outputting the switching signal; analyzing the converted switching signal to decide whether the switching signal is automatically switched, and outputting a self switching signal according to the decided result; and converting a transmitted switching signal into a switching signal utilized in the one-plus-one optimizing system.
