Recombinant DNA codifying epitopes of tropomiosine allergen of invertebrates, such as cockroaches and molluscs, can be useful in diagnosis and treatment of allergies

Recombinant molecules are new. Recombinant DNA molecules are capable of codifying polypeptide which contains at least one epitope of tropomiosine allergen of invertebrate animals such as insects, spiders and molluscs. Corresponding polypeptide molecules codified by recombinant DNA molecules contain at least one epitope of these invertebrate animals and can be obtained by expressing such DNA molecules in the organism of host, e.g. Escherichia coli.
