CONTINUOUS CASTING METHOD OF HIGH SULFER LOW CARBON STEEL FOR VITREOUS ENAMELING

PURPOSE: A continuous casting method of S-rich ultra low carbon steel sheets for vitreous enameling is provided to prevent vertical crack formed along strip surface and linear indication on the surface of the cold rolled steel sheets through proper adjusting of steel constituents and controlling the discharge amount of molten steel in continuous casting. Manufactured steel sheets through such a method is applicable to steel sheets for vitreous enameling without fish scale. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized in that molten steel comprising C 0.01wt.% or less, Mn 0.25-0.40wt.%, S 0.04-0.05wt.%, Ti 0.065-0.085wt.%, N 0.0030wt.% or less, a balance of Fe, and other inevitable impurities is continuously cast in a discharge range of 2.5-3.0ton/min.
