The titanium or aluminum head is of the type having an external face (6) designed to be in skin contact and an internal face (8) on which is mounted an ultrasound piezoelectric transducer (4). The head is characterized in that it has: the applicator ferrule (3) covered by a layer of material, gold or silver, (16) having bacteria-static properties and which can be welded by brazing, and; the transducer (4) is fixed on the ferrule (3) by brazing onto the material (16) covering the applicator ferrule.
