The switch has an LCD display (11) with buttons (12) for setting time, dates and programs and is battery powered. A circuit card controls the programming system and a second the power supply. A reed relay connects the load to the power supply and a neon lamp lights when the switch is ON and is dimmed when it is OFF to act as a locating light. A transparent cover (13) acts as a manual ON/OFF switch.
