THE DEPHOSPHORIZING AND DESULPHURIZATION METHOD OF MOLTEN METAL WITH SIMULTANEOUS

PURPOSE: A method for dephosphorizing and desulfurizing hot metal at once is provided to drastically reduce the time required in pretreatment of hot metal without additional skimming work and hot metal temperature drop. CONSTITUTION: The simultaneous dephosphorization/desulfurization method comprises the processes of receiving hot metal up to lower side of a slag discharging port; discharging slag of received hot metal; blowing a flux comprising one or more materials selected from sintered ore and mill scale, fluorite, CaO with an injection lance where the amount of each flux constituents per hot metal is as follows: sintered ore or mill scale 45¯55kg/ton-hot metal, fluorite 2¯3kg/ton-hot metal, CaO 20¯55kg/ton-hot metal while blowing oxygen 4¯5Nm¬3/ton-hot metal under agitation; blowing CaO powder 6¯ 8kg/ton-hot metal after removing an oxygen lance while discharging slag generated during the agitation through the slag discharging port; and then discharging slag generated during the simultaneous dephosphorization/desulfurization.
