PURPOSE: A network synchronization clock supplying method is provided to be capable of preventing a timing loop when setting a network synchronization using a derived clock signal. CONSTITUTION: A synchronization state message of a derived clock applied through an exchange network is stored and the derived clock is supplied to a clock supplying device. The stored synchronization state message is compared with an external input synchronization state message supplied from the clock supplying device according to the derived clock(520). If identical, a synchronization state message, indicating that the synchronization clock cannot be used, is transferred to the exchange network for supplying the derived clock(522,524). A clock from the clock supplying device together with the synchronization message is transferred to remaining exchange networks except for the exchange network, which outputs the synchronization state message(526).
