PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a rocker cover gasket is provided to simplify the process thereof, to reduce the generation of burr, to prevent the leakage of oil, to reduce the cost of manufacturing, and to improve the productivity thereof. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a rocker cover gasket adopts a compression molding process. The rocker cover gasket is made of ACM(polyacrylate rubbers) as a main material, carbon black of 60 to 70 wt percent, Zn0(zinc oxide) of 20 to 40 wt percent, stearic acid of 10 to 20 wt percent, low viscosity oil of 30 to 40 wt percent, TMTD(tetramethylthiuram disulfide) of 4 to 6 wt percent, CZ(cyclohexyl zinc) of 0.5 to 1.5 wt percent, and S(sulfur) of 1 to 2 wt percent. The compression molding is performed at a temperature of 160 degree for 8 to 9 minutes.
