OLIGOMER SET FOR DIAGNOSING THE INFECTION OF CARNATION MOTTLE VIRUS(CARMV) AND DIAGNOSIS METHOD THEREFOR USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An oligomer set for diagnosing the infection of Carnation mottle virus(CarMV) and a method for diagnosing the infection of CarMV simply and rapidly using the oligomer set. CONSTITUTION: The oligomer set for diagnosing the infection of Carnation mottle virus(CarMV) consists of an oligomer Dgs 2 5'-TAT TCG TGT GTC AGTAGGGG -3' which specifically reacts not with the genomic sequence of a host plant but with RNA viruses; and an oligomer Dgs 1 5'-TGC AGA ATG AGC GGTGACAT -3' which specifically reacts with Carnation Mottle virus among RNA genomic viruses. The infection of CarMV is diagnosed by a reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) using the oligomer set and virus genomic RNA as a template.
