PURPOSE: A locking/unlocking sensor of a lid for an electric autoclave is provided to promote regular locking and unlocking of a lid by adopting a lead switch for stopping a motor exactly at finish time point by a controller. CONSTITUTION: A motor(101) is assembled to an upper hot plate(8) of a lid(B) and exposed to an inner cover(7). The motor is connected with a rotor member(102). A rack(103) is formed around the rotor member. Plural pinions(104) are hinged with the upper hot plate and engaged with the rack to be rotated by the rotor member. Plural moving members(105) are mounted on the upper hot plate and moved horizontally by the pinions. A locking unit(106) is formed at the end of each moving member. The locking unit is hung to a protrusion(2a) of an oven or not depending on whether the moving members are moved horizontally to inside or outside. Each moving member has a magnet fixed thereto. A first and a second lead switch are set at the inner cover. Thereby, the first and the second lead switch are operated by a magnetic force of the magnets to stop the motor by a controller when the moving members are moved to a necessary distance.
