PURPOSE: A synchronizer key is provided to smoothly shift a gear mode by transmitting the force of a sleeve to a synchronizer ring and the cone portions of clutch gears. CONSTITUTION: A synchronizer consists of a clutch hub(20) combined on a main shaft(10) using a spline; a synchronizer key(60) arranged in many grooves(21) on the outer circumference of the clutch hub at the same intervals; and a sleeve(40) movably combined with the outside of the synchronizer key. Speed gears(30,31) are arranged in both sides of the sleeve and clutch gears(32,33) are integrally formed in one side of the speed gears. Herein, cone portions(34,35) are comprised of the outer circumferences of the clutch gears. The cone portions contain synchronizer rings(50,51) frictionized during a speed change. Many slots(52,53) are formed on the outside of the synchronizer rings at the same intervals to place both ends of the synchronizer key. For example, when the sleeve is moved to the right, the right end of the synchronizer key pushes the side wall of one slot with one round bar. The force of the round bar is transmitted to a spring(63) and the other round bar. Then, the speed gear(31) is engaged with the synchronizer ring(50) and the speed gear(33) is engaged with the synchronizer ring(51). After that, the clutch gear(33) and the synchronizer ring(51) are engaged with the sleeve to transmit power.
