PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing vibration of a flat tension mask is provided to reduce vibration generated between a shadow mask formed on an inner side of a panel and a damper wire by an impact or vibration of a speaker. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent screen is applied to an inner face of a panel(1) of a flat Braun tube. The panel(1) is combined with a funnel(2) with a neck portion(3) including an electron gun(7). A rail(5) is combined with an inner side of the panel(1). A shadow mask(4) is fixed to the rail(5). An electron beam passing hole of a slot type is formed on an available side of the shadow mask(4). A damper wire is formed between the electron beam passing holes.
