The system comprises of a temporary storage reservoir (5) connected via conduits (6) to the engine and via separate conduits (11,16) to a main storage chamber (10). A pressurized air supply (20) is supplied to the engine via the temporary reservoir, and a pump (15) and a control module (26). Oil is aspirated from the engine and stored within the temporary reservoir. After all the oil has been removed from the engine, the oil is transferred to the min reservoir.
