METHOD FOR DEBLOCKING BY WAVELET FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A deblocking method by a wavelet function is provided to recover an optimal image equality by reducing a deblocking effect when an image compressed by a high compression rate. CONSTITUTION: A deblocking method by a wavelet function interpolates data during a deblocking operation in the process of recovering a compressed image. A coefficient of an interpolation function is obtained using data which are located at boundaries of each block and adjacent data. The interpolation function is formed by a combination of a wavelet function. An interpolation function value with respect to the data which are located at boundaries of each block is obtained by using the obtained interpolation function. The data which are located at boundaries of each block are interpolated as the obtained interpolation function value.
