PURPOSE: An address converter supporting variable page size is provided to select portion of input linear address with response to page modes to perform address conversion, so as to support variable page mode and to reduce input load. CONSTITUTION: The address converter supporting variable page size includes a tag memory(26), a data memory(27) and a decoder(25). The tag memory stores input linear address, compares the stored linear address with a linear address from outside at a search timing and outputs the result. The data memory receives and stores a physical address corresponding to the linear address and outputs the stored physical address when a comparison result signal enabled at the tag memory is input. The decoder receives a portion of linear address to discriminate the entry from outside and a control signal, decodes the receives signals and enables the word line of the data memory and the tag memory.
